The Partial Flex is custom fabricated from a mold of the patient's hand. The design process is automated using the latest software to create an extremely precise fit and alignment
Partial Hand Solutions has spent years focused on Partial hand innovations. Now with onsite fabrication we are able to provide custom designs quickly and tailored specifically for each user.
We utilize high-definition laser scanning to produce an extremely accurate model of the user's hand. This technology allows us to design the prosthesis directly from the 3D model. This provides consistency and repeatability so you can feel confident in our products.
The Passive Finger is designed for someone missing a portion of their finger from the PIP level to DIP level. It consists of a custom silicone interface for improved comfort and and a rigid nylon micro frame for additional support. A variety of color options are available.
One of the newest members of the Partial Hand Solutions family of products is the all new Thumb cage. The thumb cage is designed for someone missing a portion of their thumb. The user can position the thumb by the remaining motion of the CMC joint of their thumb. The new design consists of a custom silicone interface for improved comfort and a rigid nylon frame for maximum stability. The thumb cage is held securely in place by a silicone band and wrist strap.
The Partial M-Fingers were designed for someone missing a portion of their finger. A custom molded, high strength carbon fiber socket can be constructed to provide the user with a custom fitted socket to provide optimum comfort and stability to control the Partial M-Fingers. The Partial M-Fingers are controlled by motion in the remaining finger so the user has direct control of speed and placement of the fingertip. This will allow for precise and rapid grasping of objects.
The Titan Flex is the newest innovation from Partial Hand Solutions. The Titan Flex will replace the current Titan Full design which has been available for several years. The new Titan Flex will offer improvements in strength and function. The Titan Flex was designed to automatically close on to an object when the lever is activated. This lever would be connected to a wrist band and the user would flex their wrist to cause the fingers to flex. Once the object is securely held with the fingers, the user can extend their wrist to lock the fingers in place.
The Titan Partial is a partial finger, heavy-duty option for someone missing a portion of their finger. Utilizing the same high strength materials as the TITAN Full, the user can feel confident in the durability and strength of the device. The user would flex the finger by applying pressure to the back side of the finger causing it to ratchet in to flexion. Once the ideal position is achieved, the finger will be locked to provide an optimal level of stability and confidence for grasping. The return the finger back in to extension, the user would pull on the finger to dislocate the joint and allow for the finger to move freely in to extension.
The TITAN Thumb was designed for someone missing their entire thumb. The TITAN Thumb utilizes the same ratchet design and high strength materials as the TITAN Full and TITAN Partial and also provides full rotation at the base. There are three sizes to choose from.
The pediatric M-Fingers consist of multi-articulating fingers available in 3 sizes. The fingers are configured based on the side and fingers missing. The fingers are able to conform around objects to be able to provide a secure and confident grip for the user. They were designed to be simple to operate and controlled by the user’s own body motion. By the user having direct control of the fingers, this will allow them to perform tasks more effectively, more responsively and with optimized precision. The pediatric M-Fingers are made from high strength nylon and coated in white and silver hydrographic film.
The M-Fingers consist of multi-articulating fingers offered in 5 sizes and 3 colors. The M-Fingers are able to conform around objects providing a more secure and confident grip for the user. They were designed to be simple to operate and controlled by the users own motion. By the user having direct control of the fingers, this will allow them to perform tasks more effectively, more responsively, and with optimized precision. The M-Fingers were specifically formulated with strength and durability in mind. Our fingers perform a multitude of tasks throughout the day which is why the M-Fingers were designed with high strength composite materials and extremely durable over-mold materials to provide the strength and durability necessary for long term use.
The M-Thumb was developed for someone with a complete absence of their thumb. It can provide a considerable improvement in function due to its multi-positional capabilities and adjustable resistance. The M-Thumb was designed to provide as much dexterity as possible to maximize the functional return for those who have lost a thumb. The M-Thumb can be rotated and flexed or extended to a position most useful for the user. The M- Thumb also has a fingernail incorporated into the design to allow the user to pick up very small objects with ease and precision.
The Hold-It device was developed to provide partial hand patients with a device to assist them with grasping and stabilizing objects such as a toothbrush, pen, knife, fork or spoon to improve their function for activities of daily living. The Hold-It device can be positioned by a friction and can also be removed if necessary by opening a lever on the side.
